FORMULATE REVIEW
Happy Friday! This week has actually gone by soo fast. I have been super busy with school, work and blogging that I have had no down time. Luckily, my mom, sister and I are going to Dallas on Sunday for a little shopping and relaxation! My mom and I are going to NYC in May, and I am in need of a little closet renovation for the trip. Haha!
Moving on to a new beauty favorite! I have been using Formulate customizable shampoo and conditioner for about a month now, and wanted to share my full review on each one, as well as offer a giveaway for a free shampoo and conditioner set! Ok, so I have only really known my hair at its best when I go to the salon. I always walk out feeling like I have a brand new head of hair. It’s so silky, smooth, and has lots of volume! Well, I have always searched for a hair care line that would give me the same results as well as being genuinely healthy for my hair, and I have found a select few…Formulate being one of them and here’s why! On the Formulate website, you are instructed to take a quiz of your current hair situation and your hair goals. I focused on customizing my shampoo and conditioner on healing my damaged ends, deep conditioning, strengthening, volumizing, and color protecting. I was also asked to choose a sent, which I chose green tea and honey for a natural, clean smell.
Here Are My Thoughts
I decided to use this hair care line for a month to test each one out and see how I really felt about them. What I have noticed in my hair since using Formulate is how silky, soft, and lightweight it is. I was honestly skeptical at first because it did not lather as much as I normally would like it to, but don’t let that fool you! It does clean very well! I normally wash my hair every 3 days, and with Formulate, I can get by with at least 5 days which is such a time saver. With my damaged ends, I have noticed an overall less noticeable appearance with them. My damaged ends used to be soo noticeable and I have really been able to tell a difference with them showing. I still do use heat on my hair though, so I can’t get away from them completely. If you have watched my stories on Instagram, I talked about how my hair is so flat and heavy that it seems impossible for it to have any volume. I have noticed a lighter weight with using this shampoo and conditioner, and it has made volume a possibility…Finally! Lol! Overall, I recommend Formulate and think that it is definitely worth the try. After I run out of my bottles, I am interested in switching a few of the customizations and trying different ones. I think its so neat how you can play around with the formula to achieve the right fit for your hair!
