Happy Wednesday y’all! I hope everyone had a great Halloween and got lots of candy! I loved seeing all of the pics on Instagram of the costumes this year! Too cute! Konnor had to work this Halloween and my dad was also out of town so my mom and I decided to have a girls night and have our Halloween night at a local sushi restaurant! It was also a gloomy, rainy night which was a bummer for all of those trick or treater’s but sure enough as we were almost home, our neighborhood was filled with cars of princesses and superheros jumping out and running up to each house! It was soo sweet to see parents making light of an unfortunate rainy situation and making darn sure that their child got some candy! Haha!

Ok, Moving on to this festive look! I am a sucker for a good slouchy sweater. I cannot count how many I have already and actually just bought a few more…Oops! Slouchy sweaters are my ideal fall and winter staple because of how comfy AND cute they are! This season, ruffles on sweaters have been more popular and that is a trend that I am LOVING. Any sweater with a ruffle, is a sweater that is in my cart! I found this sweater above, at T.J. Maxx a while ago, but linked a couple very similar ones that come in many colors! Completing this look, I added these bright red Hunter boots which is honestly one of my favorite purchases ever! When I first saw Hunter rain boots, I was obsessed with how cute they were but did not have a clue which color to go with! If you do not have Hunters, you might not know how many colors they come in OR that they come in two types of finishes…Glossy and matte! I knew that I could either play it safe and choose a natural color (black, green, cream etc. ) or go all out and get a fun color (red, pink, Tiffany blue, etc.). I ended up choosing the bright red with a glossy finish and I love them so much I want more! I believe that adding pops of color like these boots, adds character to your look and can really complete your outfit! Another pop of color I like to add to my looks are blanket scarves! Normally, I would not spend $22 on a scarf BUT these scarves come in many patterns, great quality and are such cute accessories to add to any outfit! I would say these two pops of color are definitely worth the splurge!
