SWEATER HERE

Winter came early y’all! I feel like we skipped fall here in Texas and went straight to winter. The weather has been sooo cold lately, and I have enjoyed bundling up in all of the cozy sweaters. I was gifted this sweater from Wooden Ship Knits which was super sweet of them! I have worked with Wooden Ships Knits before and they have the cutest sweaters ever!! I really love this one that is perfect for the holidays! I am wearing the “Let it Snow” on as I am typing this because it is so warm. These sweaters are on the higher price point and normally I would stick to more an affordable piece being completely honest but, I really dove into their story and was touched by how much they do to provide excellent quality products and their care for giving back, so not only is your purchase backed by quality, but also you are helping the community which makes the extra money sooo worth it. Read their story here!

For this wintery look today, I am showing you how to dress your sweaters up! I have been on the hunt for a high waisted skirt and found this one from H&M. If you have longer legs, I would suggest going a size up so that it is long enough. This one is actually a little big on me, but I am 5’5 and the smaller size fit perfectly everywhere but the length. I am wearing a medium in this sweater and it is very roomy, so if you are wanting it TTS I would size down. One thing I love to do with all of my tops is tuck them in, so having the extra room was perfect for me. You can even tuck this sweater in all the way for a classy style that would be super cute too. I finished this outfit with my fave winter booties, but also love the look of over the knee boots with this skirt. Plus your legs would also stay warm!
