DRUG STORE MAKEUP PRODUCT REVIEW

NYX Can’t Stop Wont Stop Full Coverage Foundation: Hands down one of my all time favorite foundations. First, the coverage is flawless, and lays so well on the skin. I tried this foundation with both a real techniques sponge, and a foundation brush. I prefer using the sponge (dampened) over the brush as it creates a smoother and more even finish. The formula is very lightweight, and does not feel cake-y through the day. I can’t stand a thick layer of foundation, so I was very glad to see that this one was not like that at all! I typically wear my makeup 12 hours or more a day, and never once noticed fading, or patching. My skin tends to be on the oily side normally however, during winter I do have those annoying dry patches. This foundation has been really good about not clinging on to any dry areas!

L’Oreal Full Wear Concealer: This concealer was not the original one that y’all chose however, I experienced an allergic reaction to the Neutrogena radiant cream concealer. I am honestly glad that I ended up with this concealer because it is fantastic. I enjoy the thick wand which allows me to not use as much product. The coverage is definitely full but also lightweight. This concealer does a great job of covering my redness and dark circles, and I like to use a damp beauty sponge to apply it as well! I would compare this concealer to the Shape Tape concealer from Tart.

Neutrogena Radient Cream Concealer: Besides the allergic reaction I had to this concealer, I really enjoyed the coverage! Im not going to lie, I do like the L’Oreal concealer better overall however, I think this one is a good if you are looking for light to medium coverage. I wasn’t as successful covering my redness and dark circles with this one without having to layer it, but on days where I tend to wear less makeup, I think it would be ideal.

NYX Matte Bronzer: Bronzer is tricky for me, as I have fair skin. This bronzer is a winner for me in that it gives a natural warm complexion without an orange tint. I also love how it is all matte, and glides evenly on the skin without looking splotchy or uneven like I have experienced in the past with other bronzers.

NYX Liquid Lingerie Lipstick: My new favorite lipstick for sure. I am so obsessed that I am heading to the store to buy more shades! The creamy formula is the selling point for this liquid lipstick. I have always dealt with chapped lips, so wearing any kind of liquid lipstick has been hard for me. In the past, I run into the issue of a thick formula that drys and ends up cracking or fading. The first thing I noticed about the NYX Liquid Lingerie lipstick was the hydration. Even after it has dried, my lips are still moisturized and lightweight. The shade is a beautiful mauve nude and I am a sucker for nude shades, but the formula is the ultimate decision maker for me!

Y’all picked some great products again this time, and I have so much fun testing new products that y’all are curious about! Since we are in the Christmas season, I decided to do a little giveaway gifting one of you each makeup product I tested.

**Because I ended up testing two concealers, the winner will get to choose the concealer of their choice.

Good luck, and keep an eye out on my Instagram for another makeup selection soon!
