We are back from Seaside, Fl! If you have not traveled to this part of Florida, I highly recommend it…Gorgeous clear water, so many yummy places to eat, and the houses there are an absolute dream! Our first official day we stayed most of the day at the beach, so Mad Hippie’s sunscreens were put to the test. I am very fair complected and burn easily, so needless to say, I have to have a sunscreen that works! The best part of Mad Hippie’s sun care product’s is that they are chemical free. Sun Care Reviews:
Ultra Sheer Body SPF 40+ (Used on day 1): Functions just like normal sunscreen, and is a lotion. I found that it is ultra sheer as described, and goes on evenly! As far as sun protection goes, I did not get burnt and actually had a little tan. I did have to reapply several times during the day like normal, as we were laying out for at least 7 hours!
Hydrating Facial SPF 25+ (Used every day): Love me a good facial SPF! Because we were shooting content while in Seaside, I used this facial SPF under my makeup as a primer. I enjoyed how lightweight the formula is, making it a great primer under foundation for everyday use. The last day on the beach, I tested this product without makeup and did not burn at all. I even applied once and was good to go the rest of the day.
Sheer Mineral Sun Spray SPF 25 (Used day 2 and 3): This is a favorite for sure! I opt for spray sunscreen because of how easy it is to apply. In the past I never really trusted spray on sunscreens as they have not been the most effective for me. Anyone else relate? This one really impressed me and was my go-to for the rest of the trip. Konnor even used it the whole time! Like the lotion, I applied several times during the day since we were in the sun for a while, but am very pleased with the sun protection.
