Im wrapping up our summer vacation posts to Seaside, Fl with a travel guide! This was Konnor and I’s first time in Seaside, and we are already looking forward to many more trips there. Below you will find a complete guide for places to eat, attractions to see, and beach details!

Where To Eat

Steamboat Grill: Family friendly restaurant that has super yummy seafood! ($$)

Hurricane Oyster Bar: Delicious seafood and fantastic cocktails! Take advantage of their happy hour food and drinks. ($$)

Pickles Beachside Grill: A cute little burger stand right in the middle of Seaside. Food trucks are all lined down the Seaside strip, and we heard that many of them are worth the try…Especially the Meltdown grilled cheese truck. My sister raved about that one, but we ended up not trying this time. Next time for sure! Back to Pickles, the burgers were good and the fries were mine and Konnors favorite (a mix of sweet and salty). ($$)

Bud and Alleys: We only got cocktails here, and they were super refreshing. This restaurant offers a rooftop dining area that looks over the gulf. It is soo breathtaking and a must have place for a relaxing dinner with a view! ($$$)

The Red Bar: Our last night in Seaside, we ate here! The dinner menu is limited (like 6 items to choose from) but really tasty! I tried the shrimp and crawfish pasta, and was very pleased with how fresh it was. ($$$)

The Great Southern Cafe: This restaurant is located in the shopping area of Seaside. We ordered Mojitos to go and sipped on them while we shopped. They were the best mojitos I’ve ever had. Konnor and I got the coconut and pineapple flavor, and now we want to recreate them at home! ($$)

Donut Hut: On our way home from Seaside, we stopped here for donuts! This donut shop is located right in Santa Rosa, and has the cutest and tastiest donuts, plus breakfast sandwiches.

**What we learned with every restaurant is that they like to make reservations. Im sure it is worse during summer since the towns are full! Many places we tried going to were booked for the night, so my recommendation is to call ahead and see if you need to make a reservation. Many of the restaurants were also strict about what time the dinner menu came out, and would not let you order or even sit in the dinning area until the designated time.***

Beach Info

We spent our beach time at Santa Rosa Beach since that is the area we stayed in. We have also been told this is one of the best beaches in Seaside. The beaches were super clean and the water is crystal clear! Be aware of jelly fish though, they were very small and not too many of them, but we did get stung a few times. You are allowed to bring tents, tarps, and umbrellas to this specific beach, and there is a ramp heading down to the sand for you to easily roll a wagon with your beach gear. Konnor and I drove to the public parking area when we spent time on the beach, and tried to get there around 8. The parking lots start filling up around 9:30, so get there early for a parking spot!

Attractions

Seaside alone is such a pretty place. There is a lot to see when just driving down the street! Have you ever seen the Truman show? This movie was filmed right in Seaside, and you can even find the exact street and house that the movie was primarily filmed in. On our last night, Konnor and I drove to Alys Beach which is another beach community in Seaside. There were so many night time activities like live music, shopping, etc.

We had soo much fun in Seaside, Fl and can’t wait to go back! If you have been there, let me know some things you did in the comments and we may have to check them out one day.
