Outfit Details
If you read my “what to wear in between seasons” post, You saw that jumpsuits are a great way to transition into warmer weather. I found the cutest jumpsuit when browsing Nordstroms spring pieces a few days ago, and had to have it! Currently, it is sold out on Nordstroms website but available directly through Madewell (the brand of the jumpsuit). I will keep my eye out on Nordstroms website to see if it comes back in stock… It is much lower in price! I linked similar styles in the slider above that are more budget friendly if you are not looking to splurge.
Now, let’s dive into the details of this jumpsuit! When it arrived, the lightweight, airy material was the first thing that stuck out to me. Linen is a high quality fabric that achieves both comfort and a soft, lightweight feel. Before ordering, I was worried that the material would be see through, but to my surprise it is not…thank goodness! I love the style so much and would have been super disappointed! If you have been following me for a while, you can probably guess my favorite part of this jumpsuit. If you guessed the puffy sleeves, you are right! Elevated sleeves give off the most flattering feminine style, and is always a feature that draws me to any top, jumpsuit, or dress. For sizing, I chose a medium and think it fits TTS with a little room for comfort, rather than feeling too tight and showing all lumps and bumps.
I chose a pair of espadrilles to enhance the flare legs, but will gravitate towards sandals like these on more laid back days. Before I wrap up, I also wanted to mention my gold hoop earrings. I have been on the hunt for a pair of medium gold hoops for awhile now, and found my absolute favorite pair! I previously ordered these in gold, and think they are super cute but too small for me. I wear my new gold hoops all.the.time and love how classic, timeless, and delicate they are. Especially when my hair is up in a pony or messy bun!
